Filmmaking is all about planning, but sometimes things don’t go as expected, and you just have to roll with it. One of the biggest challenges we faced during production was scheduling—everyone’s availability was all over the place, and we realized we only had one full day where the entire cast and crew could be together. That meant we had to film almost the entire movie in one day. At first, it seemed impossible, but instead of stressing, we got organized and made a game plan. We mapped out the most efficient way to shoot each scene, making sure we weren’t wasting any time moving between locations. It was a long day, but we kept the energy up and worked as a team to keep things moving. There were definitely moments when we felt rushed, but we stayed focused and made sure every scene was done right. Even with the time crunch, we still paid attention to details like lighting, camera angles, and performances. Everyone gave their best effort, and somehow, we managed to pull it off. By the end of the day, we had filmed everything we needed, which felt like a huge accomplishment. It was exhausting, but also really rewarding to see how much we could get done when we worked efficiently. Looking back, the challenge actually made us more disciplined filmmakers. We learned how to adapt, stay on schedule, and make quick decisions under pressure. Even though it wasn’t our original plan, everything still came together, and we’re proud of what we created. This experience showed us that filmmaking isn’t always about having perfect conditions—it’s about making the most of the time and resources you have. Reviewer #1 The first reviewer praised the foreshadowing at the start of the sequence, when the kidnapper is visible in the distance behind Jasmine. She also enjoyed the scenario with the empty swing, which led to the kidnapping. However, she admitted that she didn't really get the concept of Jasmine's revenge in the last scene. I believe this is due to our decision not to have Imani hold a knife in that scenario for safety reasons. I don't think we'll solve it, but we'll compensate with voiceover.  Reviewer #2 The second reviewer said they enjoyed the entire movie. They did not suggest any specific improvements. However, they noted that the second part of the sequence appeared to be a little off. They said it was more unprofessional than the first.  Hi! For our music video, we needed to create a plan which is why we created a story board. In scene 1, we will be recorded from the backseat… so you’ll be able to see the back of the driver and passengers head, singing the song two seater by Tyler the creator at 3:47. At that time the song goes “can you roll my window up”. In scene 2, at 3:53 they’re still arguing about the window being down and she says “because it’s windy” etc. still recorded from the same angle. In scene 3, then at 3:59 of the song he says “but I love when your hair blows” and the video will be shot from her passenger seat window. She’s smiling as they ride down the road. In scene 4, 4:05 it shows the same thing… her smiling and staring out of the window but it will be from a different angle. In scene 5, the group (Nijah, Callie, Imani) will be playing at the park while Adrian (Camera Man) records us. There will be no dialogue here only the song playing in the background.  Hi! I am done with the first project and it's time for the next. I really did enjoy the first one and it was fun. To introduce myself again, my name is Callie Brown. I am a junior at Fort Lauderdale High School in the Cambridge program. I love hanging out with friends and going to Barnes and Noble. Barnes and Noble is one of my favorite places because I work better in workspaces. I love hanging out with friends because it is a way to destress after doing lots of schoolwork. I took Aice media studies because I love movies. Watching movies is one of my favorite hobbies, and Jordan Peele is my favorite director. My favorite film distributor is A24 because my favorite movies are from them, such as Waves, Moonlight, and Mid90s. A24 produces the best movies for me because they are all so deep and have a significant meaning.
