 For the editing of this project, Nijah is in charge. All the group members shared their ideas about how they want the film to look. Nijah hopes she can bring all these ideas to life and make the perfect thriller/horror film. The shots taken during filming were great for editing and creating smooth transitions between scenes.

While filming, the group also recorded diegetic sounds to add to the eerie atmosphere. Some of these sounds included a creaking door and a loud bang on the floor. These small details help make the film feel more realistic and intense. The group discussed the overall mood they wanted, and Nijah is determined to make it happen.

She carefully selected each shot to keep the pacing intense and suspenseful. The goal was to make every scene flow smoothly while keeping the audience on edge. Every transition between scenes was planned to maintain tension. The diegetic sounds added an extra layer of depth, pulling viewers deeper into the film’s world.

For example, the creaking door sound will be placed at just the right moment. This will help build anticipation and make the audience feel uneasy. The loud bang on the floor will serve as a jump scare, catching viewers off guard. Nijah is excited to experiment with these sound effects to enhance the horror elements.

By combining visuals with sound, the group hopes to fully immerse the audience in the story. The editing process has been a team effort, with everyone sharing feedback. Each change made to the film helps bring the final vision closer to reality. Nijah is gaining more confidence as the editing progresses.

The film is finally coming together, turning raw footage into a chilling, suspenseful thriller. The group is excited to see the final product after all their hard work. They believe the film will have a strong impact on viewers. Everyone is eager to watch the completed project.

The editing has made a huge difference in making the film feel polished and professional. It has also been a fun and creative experience for the whole team. They are proud of what they have accomplished so far. Now, they just have to add the final touches. The group can’t wait to showcase their work and see how the audience reacts!

Reviewer #1 The first reviewer praised the foreshadowing at the start of the sequence, when the kidnapper is visible in the distance behind Jasmine. She also enjoyed the scenario with the empty swing, which led to the kidnapping. However, she admitted that she didn't really get the concept of Jasmine's revenge in the last scene. I believe this is due to our decision not to have Imani hold a knife in that scenario for safety reasons. I don't think we'll solve it, but we'll compensate with voiceover.  Reviewer #2 The second reviewer said they enjoyed the entire movie. They did not suggest any specific improvements. However, they noted that the second part of the sequence appeared to be a little off. They said it was more unprofessional than the first.  Hi! For our music video, we needed to create a plan which is why we created a story board. In scene 1, we will be recorded from the backseat… so you’ll be able to see the back of the driver and passengers head, singing the song two seater by Tyler the creator at 3:47. At that time the song goes “can you roll my window up”. In scene 2, at 3:53 they’re still arguing about the window being down and she says “because it’s windy” etc. still recorded from the same angle. In scene 3, then at 3:59 of the song he says “but I love when your hair blows” and the video will be shot from her passenger seat window. She’s smiling as they ride down the road. In scene 4, 4:05 it shows the same thing… her smiling and staring out of the window but it will be from a different angle. In scene 5, the group (Nijah, Callie, Imani) will be playing at the park while Adrian (Camera Man) records us. There will be no dialogue here only the song playing in the background.  Hi! I am done with the first project and it's time for the next. I really did enjoy the first one and it was fun. To introduce myself again, my name is Callie Brown. I am a junior at Fort Lauderdale High School in the Cambridge program. I love hanging out with friends and going to Barnes and Noble. Barnes and Noble is one of my favorite places because I work better in workspaces. I love hanging out with friends because it is a way to destress after doing lots of schoolwork. I took Aice media studies because I love movies. Watching movies is one of my favorite hobbies, and Jordan Peele is my favorite director.
