So, me and the group met up yesterday and we got so much done! We officially finalized everything. We did this on a random day, so we decided to meet at my house right after school. All of us were very late, unfortunately.  we all wanted to get food so we got Chick-fil-A. Kids are always there after school. We arrived at my house at about 1:30pm and one member got there about fifteen minutes later. We officially finished our script. We added that she would run into the street where as before, she was just going to start planning to get revenge. This would leave us with a huge gap in our opening sequence. We added a lot more voiceovers. We used my voice as the voiceover. I won't be seen in it but rather heard. At a moment, we did take a break. Me and Adrian did end up taking the lead. We planned to meet up but we ended up cancelling that. This was because we planned to hang out a lot later at night. That was due to us going to a school basketball game. That game was canceled, and everyone wanted to do it earlier, but one of our members could not because they had plans. We want to hang out next Friday. We wanted to film a different day, but we've decided to do that, on Friday.

  1. How does your product use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent social groups or issues?  My friends and I chose to defy genre traditions for our music video. During the research process, I looked at various rap songs' music videos, specifically those by the same artist (Tyler, The Creator). Because Tyler, the Creator, is such a well-known artist, my initial assumption was that I could base our music video on his general themes. Tyler has a very unique way of producing music videos with surprising outfits and outlandish setups. For example, in the music video “See You Again” Tyler has a set on a naval ship and a small boat at sea, so the idea of trying to make our video similar to Tyler’s music videos was abandoned. Reviewer #1 The first reviewer praised the foreshadowing at the start of the sequence, when the kidnapper is visible in the distance behind Jasmine. She also enjoyed the scenario with the empty swing, which led to the kidnapping. However, she admitted that she didn't really get the concept of Jasmine's revenge in the last scene. I believe this is due to our decision not to have Imani hold a knife in that scenario for safety reasons. I don't think we'll solve it, but we'll compensate with voiceover.  Reviewer #2 The second reviewer said they enjoyed the entire movie. They did not suggest any specific improvements. However, they noted that the second part of the sequence appeared to be a little off. They said it was more unprofessional than the first. Reviewer #3 The third critic stated that they loved the actors' facial expressions. They did express a desire to hear additional diegetic sound throughout the sequence to break up the music played.
