As I started my production, I decided to add an introduction. I said my first name, the school I went to, and some pics of me. I also made cute little fonts and amination to the words for the intro. I used the song "Pilot" instrumental by Tyler The Creator for my intro. I thought it would be nice because it's really bubbly. I am using capcut to make my video because it's easy to use and straightforward while also making my commercial look nice. I was planning to only use two songs, but since I decided to add an intro, I might add 1 or 2 additional songs for my pictures and videos. I also was only planning to use 3 photos, but I added pics of me to the intro as well. I added pictures just to show my face so you can see what I look like. After I added the pictures of myself, I decided to add a video instead of continuing with pictures so there is a balance in my production. I added a video of me showing my outfit while conversing with a friend. We were talking about al...
Hi! For our music video, we needed to create a plan which is why we created a story board. In scene 1, we will be recorded from the backseat… so you’ll be able to see the back of the driver and passengers head, singing the song two seater by Tyler the creator at 3:47. At that time the song goes “can you roll my window up”. In scene 2, at 3:53 they’re still arguing about the window being down and she says “because it’s windy” etc. still recorded from the same angle. In scene 3, then at 3:59 of the song he says “but I love when your hair blows” and the video will be shot from her passenger seat window. She’s smiling as they ride down the road. In scene 4, 4:05 it shows the same thing… her smiling and staring out of the window but it will be from a different angle. In scene 5, the group (Nijah, Callie, Imani) will be playing at the park while Adrian (Camera Man) records us. There will be no dialogue here only the song playing in the background. In scene 6, 4:17 still no dialogue but ...
Today, while filming, we had to take many breaks and redo several scenes. This was mostly because of our personalities and how we interacted with each other. While working together, I noticed that we made a lot of jokes and had trouble staying serious. Even though we had to do multiple takes, we still found time to give each other suggestions. We also corrected our mistakes to make sure the scenes looked better. In our final scenes, we had to redo some shots multiple times. This was because we kept breaking character and laughing. There were moments when we completely gave up on keeping a straight face. After editing, you might even catch a glimpse of one of us looking away to smile or laugh. However, I think this will make the scenes feel more natural. It adds to the fun, giggly vibe that happens during real group hangouts. One of our original ideas was to film most of the movie in one take. Since we were staying in one room for most of the scenes, we thought this w...
